Women Who Want Muscle (WWWM)

Women Who Want Muscle (WWWM) is an online, membership-based lifting program that provides education, support and accountability to women interested in learning to lift weights independently with confidence for life. It is designed with a progressive, longitudinal structure that allows members to learn and progress at their own pace. It was designed to eliminate intimidation and support women long term so they maintain their strength and muscle mass as they age. There are beginner and intermediate streams to accommodate different levels of ability. Members become part of a virtual lifting community.

NEXT CLASS: JAN 16, 2024 SOLD OUT

Women’s Lifting Classes at Klimat Gym

In a small group format,  Tina will demonstrate and instruct the exercises in a complete strength program that participants can then complete on their own. The programs are suited to beginner and intermediate lifters who seek basic programming for functional everyday strength. Every 2 months, Tina returns to Klimat to offer instruction on a new program based on progressions from the last session. This type of structured training improves client results (strength, muscle mass, posture, stability)  but also goes a long way to keeping clients engaged and invested in the process of training for life! Registration is via Klimat gym.

Personalized Strength Programming

Regardless of your strength goals (better posture, core function, reduced injury, or improved athletic performance), a personalized strength program can be written based on your available time, resources and experience. The program design is guided by a detailed review of clients’ lifting experience, and current functional capacity (FMS).

Clients should have access to their own training environment and equipment for self-directed training. This arrangement is best suited to people with some strength training experience.

Health Coaching

Getting to know my clients is important to me. I invest time to review each of my client’s health history, nutritional habits & preferences, stress & sleep profiles, current and past physical activity levels, social support network, and work/life balance. I gain an appreciation of each individual’s learning style, communication preferences, comfort & capacity for change as well as their sociocultural contexts. All of this fosters a strong collaborative base for supporting clients in making changes to their current life habits based on what suits them best.
